Hull cleaning business software
SailorSkills Pro is the operations app for hull cleaning and dive service businesses. Log the job, send a beautiful report, and bill the card within 60 seconds of getting out of the water. Nothing comes home with you.
Every plan starts with a call to set up your workspace.
See the real interface and request access to a sandboxed workspace. Demo accounts are approved personally, and Brian emails each entry link—usually the same day.
The whole experience is designed for dockside mobile use: log the job at the boat, and there is nothing left to do when you get home. The Home view exists for the occasional bulk pass, like scheduling out the month, which is easiest on a desktop.
Once approved, you can explore freely: the sandbox never charges a card or emails a customer, and its data resets nightly.
We're entrepreneurs. We own our businesses because we value freedom. SailorSkills Pro exists to eliminate taking any work home with you: handle all of the admin within 60 seconds of getting out of the water, and reclaim your free time, your work-life balance, your evenings with family and friends. What's important.
Built for hull cleaning and dive service work, not adapted from a generic field service app. Every feature buys back a piece of your time.

See the week at a glance. Drag jobs onto days, assign them to divers, and spot the boats that are overdue or due soon. You plan from the same board your team works from.
Plan the week once. Stop re-planning it in your head at dinner.

Record the work when you finish it. Capture hull condition, growth level, the anodes you replaced, and before and after video. The log becomes the customer record and the basis for the bill.
Sixty seconds of taps at the dock. Zero write-ups at the kitchen table.

Every completed job lands in the billing ledger. Review the amount, then charge the card on file through Stripe. The customer receives a receipt with the line items and condition notes.
Billed the day of the dive. Paid faster, and never chasing a lost invoice.

Count anodes and parts as you use them. Set a Target on hand for each item and the app flags anything below target, with the exact quantity needed to replenish.
The app minds the stock, so your Sunday is not a trip to check the van.

Open a boat to see its dimensions, its owner, and every visit logged against it. The history stays with the boat, including when ownership changes hands.
Answer any owner's question from the dock, not from a filing cabinet at home.

Every completed job is attributed to the diver who did it. Revenue splits by each diver's share, so the payroll view shows what the business earned, what the crew is owed, and what is left for the owner.
The work builds payroll as it happens. No spreadsheet night at the end of the month.
Each boat carries its own anode manifest. Track the location and position of every anode, and how often it needs replacing. When you service the boat you already know which anodes it takes and which ones are due.
You arrive already knowing the boat. Owners notice, and they stay.

Jobber is a good general field service tool, and if you are on it today it is probably doing most of what you asked it to. Pro is built for hull diving only, and the differences turn out to be exactly the things a dive operation spends its day on.
Jobber stores a video on the job, but the only way to get it to the owner is a 10 MB email attachment, and the customer-facing media library sits on a $499 per month tier. In Pro the clip streams inside the receipt and on the boat's page, and the bill waits until it is ready to watch.
Jobber prices a line as quantity times unit price, so per-foot work means typing the feet and hand-adding a growth line every visit. Pro computes the hull rate per foot, the growth surcharge, boat-type and propeller surcharges, anode parts and labor, the minimum invoice, and the per-boat ceiling from the log you just made.
Jobber tracks timesheets and hands payroll to a separate payroll partner. Pro attributes each finished boat to the diver who did it, splits the revenue at their share, and prints the pay statement, so nobody rebuilds it in a spreadsheet on Sunday.
| What you do all day | Jobber | SailorSkills Pro | Verdict |
|---|---|---|---|
| How long the job takes | You type a duration on each visit. | Pro learns how long each boat takes for each diver out of your own completed work, and sizes the day from that. | Pro is stronger |
| One customer, many boats | Properties under a customer, each with an address and custom fields. There is no equipment record, so a boat is only an address. | The boat is the record: length, type, propellers, anode manifest, condition history, video history, and who owned it before. Two or more boats behind one payer group into a fleet. | Pro is stronger |
| Video from the visit | Photos, video, and files are stored on the job, but delivering a video means a 10 MB email attachment, and the customer-facing media library sits on a $499 per month tier. | The visit video streams inside the receipt email and on the boat's own page within minutes of the upload, and the bill waits until the video is ready to watch. | Pro is stronger |
| How the price is calculated | Quantity times unit price. Per-foot pricing means typing the feet, and growth or condition is a line you add by hand every time. | Per-foot hull rate, growth surcharge, boat-type and propeller surcharges, anode parts and labor, inspection rates, a minimum invoice, and a per-boat price ceiling, all computed from the log you just made at the dock. | Pro is stronger |
| One invoice per customer per month | Batch create and batch send: one invoice per customer covering every job across every property, from the web app. | Not yet. A numbered monthly statement per customer, printable, emailable, and payable outside the app, is coming this fall. | Not yet in Pro |
| Accounting sync | One-way sync to QuickBooks Online or Xero: customers, items, invoices, payments, and timesheets. | Not yet. Pro has no accounting export, so your bookkeeper still works from Stripe and your statements. | Not yet in Pro |
| Review requests | Google review requests when a visit completes or an invoice is paid, with two follow-ups, inside a $99 per month add-on. | None. | Not yet in Pro |
| Payroll and pay statements | Timesheets by employee. Payroll itself runs through a separate payroll partner. | Payroll in the app: each diver's share of the hull, anode labor, an equipment fee, adjustments, carryover, owner profit and loss, and a statement you can print or email. | Pro is stronger |
Three of those eight go the other way, and we left them in. We are a small, agile studio dedicated to the hull diving industry: if Jobber does something you need and Pro does not, tell us and we build it.
Choose the way you run today. Annual billing includes two months free, and no card is needed to start a conversation.

Every plan starts with a call. We set up your workspace, add your boats, and connect Stripe together, so you leave the call ready to work.
The log you make at the dock IS everything else. It becomes the customer's report, the invoice, the service history, and the payroll record, all from one entry made in about 60 seconds. There is no second pass at a desk, because there is nothing left to pass over.
No. You charge the card on file, and the customer receives a receipt by email with the work logged and the amount charged.
It runs in any browser and installs to your phone or tablet as an app. Field logging works from the dock, including on a shared tablet with a PIN.
Yes, on Pro Team. Each diver gets their own login, jobs are attributed to whoever did the work, and revenue splits by each diver's share.
Yes. You can cancel at any time, and your access continues through the end of the current billing period. Monthly plans renew monthly; annual plans are billed once per year.
It is built for hull cleaning and dive service work. Scheduling, logging, billing, inventory, and the per boat anode manifest are all shaped around how a dive operation runs, not a generic field service app.
